Have a friend upgrading a DuoDock 280c to a 2300c(?) - 040 to 603e. She wants to upgrade the OS past 7.5.3, which she's running. My questions to you 2300 users are:

1) Which OS do you use, and why? 7.5.x? 8.x? 9.x?

2) How much RAM does yer OS take, and, on a sideish note,

3) What's the max RAM you can stuff into a 2300? I think she's got 40 megs now. Can she go higher? If so, can she install it herself?

based on this info, http://www.info.apple.com/info.apple...ec.taf?RID=165

i'd guess that 7.6.1 would be best for it
