When trying to login with voice, the OS responds with an error that states that the "mic" used to make the voiceprint could not be found. It happens agian and agian.

I've run into the same problem. I can't get the darn thing to work either.

Try this suggestion:

If you are running an older version of the speech software, the OS9 install doesn't seem to update those files. Run your installer again and do a add/remove option and specifically select the speech/voice software (2 packages I believe) then the next boot should let voice logins function for you!
