well i got a B&W i while back and i was wanting to set it up as a web server how would i go about doing this? thanks

enable apache, (in sharing prefs), put stuff on it.
done.

there are nice apps which will install php, perl and mysql and things for you, but i cant remember what they are called. google it.

though i use lighttpd because apache is screwed for me.

MAMP is a nice distribution of Apache, MySQL and PHP and should be capable of running most interesting webapps. Probably overkill: the built-in 'personal web-sharing' feature under 'Sharing' should take care of standard static serving needs.

System Preferences -> Sharing -> Personal Web Sharing? And if you want php, you don't even need to install extra software.
