My Shuffle updates a little more slowly as it's connected via USB 1.0 to my Powerbook, and that bloody "iPod Updating Do Not Disconnect" notice in iTunes annoys me to no end since it only closes for a few seconds before popping back up to interrupt me. Then it hangs around with the "iPod Update Complete" which doesn't go away unless I click it.

Yes, I realize this is a very small thing to complain about but it is damned annoying to me. Are there any hacks to turn this off?
