I have recently got an Ipad. But when it Backs up it takes 1 hour 25 minutes to perform a back up, however a sync is over in a few minutes. Is anyone else experiencing this problem at all?

my Ipad has 28 GB of free space its the 64 GB model so 59 GB is usable, of which 22.4GB is audio, 0.66gb is Video, 1.60Gb is photos, 5.2 GB is APPS, 0.04gb is books and 0.54gb is other . So its not so full really

I think it depends on the last time the iPad was backed up. On my iPhone 4, for instance, the first few backups took a long time (maybe 10 minutes); now, though, they take but a minute or so. (On my 3G they were even longer (~20 minutes), but that's another story...) So, I think after a few more backups, your iPad will start performing the task a bit faster--over an hour is semi-ridiculous.

That doesn't seem like it should take more than 20-30 minutes.

This may be a silly question, but is it a direct connection, or through a hub?
