I got the trackpad and use BetterTouchTool to totally customize the gestures and clicks and stuff and it's just great. I put my mouse away for good I think!

I love the U.S., but we need some time apart.

I don’t have a mtp yet, but have put away my thumbball and have been using the trackpad on my MBP to see how it goes.

Only thing I’m missing is not having to hold down control to right click.

Does the MTP have a finger gesture that allows you to right click without using the keyboard?

It should support the option to make a 2 finger click be recognized as a right click, or to use a hot corner for it, same as an internal trackpad.

Hmm, lets see… The part about me putting away my trackball might have clued you into the fact that I hardly use the trackpad; so I don’t know about all the trackpad functions.

In 5 years you've never taken a portable off of your desk?

No, but then again, I haven’t had my laptop for more then 2 years; and I usually use a BT mouse when on the road. The times that I have used the trackpad have been for just moving the pointer around and using the control button for right click, and double tap for highlighting. Hence why I’m not up to date on all the ins and outs of what the trackpads can and can’t do.

Nor have I looked into the trackpad commands, hence why I asked the question about the right clicking using the MTP only.

If you have anymore questions on my computer usage; don’t hesitate to ask.

Thinking about getting a Magic Trackpad. My $50 logitech mouse scroll wheel is broken. Man logitech devices don't last.

Not sure if I can leave without a mouse though, because touchpad just don't have the accuracy I needed.

I've never owned a two-finger-right-click capable machine and I still knew.

You can learn things in books, instead of talking out of your assholes.

After installing Better Touch Tool, I can't imagine going back to a mouse now.

On a once in a while bout of genius I realized that this is why they took away the number pad on the wireless keyboards. With the num pad; the wireless keyboard might be too long to use comfortably with the MTP.
