Is this a mystery? A big problem? A little probem?
My copy of Safari - 6.0.2 - has suddenly started to display a 'plug in blocked' message wherever there is a Flash Vid to be played.
When I download the 'latest Flash' from Adboe the file will not open ( a *.html' file)
So in essence I cannot play Flash now, cannot download Flash now and have nary a clue what is going on.
I have tried dl'ing the Adobe Flash link that pops up when I click on the 'blocked plugin' bit and directy from the Adobe webiste, The files play fine on Firefox on the Pro Tower and on both Safari and FF on an MBA and an iPad (via third party Flash software).
Any clues on how to solve this one would be very much appreciated
Thank you
Geoff

What's really screwed up is that the Adobe Preference Pane - Check Upate - does not show or alert about the update. Pretty weka sauce, Adobe.

I'm fine with Apple tightening ship, hauling up the drawbridge when an issue is discovered, and then going "hey, take it up with them — this is who ****ed up."
It's a luxury they haven't had for long.
It always used to be "Stupid Apple. XXXX isn't working."

Did you quit and restart Safari after updating Flash?
