Hi,
I recently bought a Belkin F5D6050 802.11b USB adapter. I was trying to set it up on my iMac (G3, Mac OS X 10.2). I put the installer on the computer and ran it. But then it gives me an error message "Not Able To Install On This Computer" (or something like that). I then tried using Pacifist to manually install the drivers. Then I rebooted, and plugged in the F5D6050, and opened up Belkin Wireless LAN Configuration. Then all of the options in it are grayed out, and for some reason, under the Version tab, it is blank, where they should be a version number. Can you please help? Thanks, Bye.

See this page: Belkin Drivers and make sure you have the latest drivers that correspond to your operating system.

Did you ever get this thing to work? I am thinking about getting one for an old iMac with USB.

OK. I bought one of these Belkin USB adapters.
Two hours later, I got it to work with my 233 iMac Rev. B.
The basic problem matching the settings to access your network. Belkin is not clear on what is what.
I had to set my Apple Express network to 128bit encryption and then enter the HEX equivalent into the "Manual Entry" section on the belkin LAN config page and chose 128 Bits for "WEP Mode". Click "Apply", enter your OSX pw and it should connect.
You cannot use the Airport password you set up on the base station.
Now, I will try to make it work in OS9 just for the hell of it.
PS: I got my F5D6050 for $23.
