Here is my problem,

I bought an Airport Express when it was on sale on Thanksgiving day. However, I have only installed it a few days ago and I am very disappointed by it.

What happens is that the connection between my powerbook and the airport will stop for a while and then will come back. It is the same between the XP Home of my wife and airport. I was told that it was coming from my home phone because each time, I was picking up the phone, I would loose any network. So I went to buy a 5.8Ghz phone and I thought it would solve the problem. Unfortunately, the problem still happens.

Is there something I should do on the setup of the airport or the computer to prevent this problem because it makes this product not usable. I live in an apartment and any computer is more than 10 meters away from the base.

Thanks for your help.

You mention living in an apartment. It could be a neighbor's phone OR it could be something else. Does the 5.8Ghz phone have an option to change channels or scan to the next channel. You could try that.

I can't remember if there is an option to change channels on the airport station (I have this either on my old Apple base station or on my new Linksys router), you might try that.
