Everyone has their own unique ideas, and that is what comes out in their screenshots, maybe some won't be nice to you at all but then you could use good criticism and tell them what you don't like. Maybe they can learn something from you and be inspired by your thoughts?

Yes and I agreed.

That's why I said i like the Dragonfly much better.

Thanks for your advice, I appreciate it. I really like this wallpaper. For me icons are the hardest part, i have like thousands on my HD and always have a hard time picking them out. You are right white one's would look better and match the others.

No sweat!

The hardest part for me is the desktops. i am very picky with desktops. They must go with the theme.

I just stick with the whole complete icons set of Albook because it's looks cool and there is an icon for EVERYTHING. Laurent Baumann was very COOL for doing that. I find it "what's the point" if someone doesn't create a complete icon set.

for me, it's all about the color match.

What a stupid comment !!!

You don't have something else to do except to pollute this thread with those words ?

it's not a question indeed, it's a fact, so I don't need any reply.

I am still loving transparency

Here is Pulsar that I made Tranparent (thanks to Ice Spectre)
and then tweaked to be Purple

http://www.reelshit.com/SS/screenShots.html

It still needs to be tweaked and I don't know about releasing it,
as it needs to be it's own guikit and am not sure I have permission

desk is my own and Safari has Transparency enabled

Ok.. so.. maybe they are.

This is not "the meaning of art" forum, its just a SS forum. Sorry Christain.. but you tend to critique things that really are not up for critique. A person's desktop is a personal issue. If you like judging and commenting (mostly negatively I might add) why don't you check out places like photo.net or devart. Or, if you know of which you speak, check out the forums here that ask for critique on themes/walls/icons .. etc.

However, while you may think you are being: cute (not), helpful (not) or just being a SA (for sure), please remember that this thread is just a place for people to post their desktops, if you have a question about some element in the SS, ask, if you like it say "Nice job", if the SS is not your taste and you don't care for it, say nothing.

Sorry hun, but your comments are really beginning to grate on my nerves, and on other's as well I suspect.
