Anyone know why my cursor gets jiggly every once in a while? It is seemingly random. Is this common on all iBooks?

Thanks
-John

The only problem I have had with the curser happened the first day I got the iBook. The curser slowed down to a crawl twice and only a reboot fixed it.

No other problems -----

Have you tried changing the settings in the Mouse control panel (probably a moot suggestion, sorry).

It has been quite common on all the PowerBooks I have owned.

Ive never heard of one doing the Funky Chicken, but I hear the Disco Duck is quite common.

I have gotten the slow cursor syndrome too. The first few days - every once in a while - the cursor tracking became ultra slow and I had to reboot. Wierd...

Is it a jerky, infrequent cursor "do I **** or go blind?" syndrome for a nanosecond or two? Never been tempted to reboot on account of it though. BTW while I rave about the original Kensington TurboMouse, I haven't been keen on Kensington's USB/ADB version yet either.

I've had the slow cursor thing happen too, but only in MacOS 9. Since I started running X full-time I haven't seen it at all (although I had some serious wake-up problems before updating to 10.0.3).
