I was looking at the translucent Titanium PowerBook keyboard and wondering what it'd look like backlit. I just found out that the little keys are the same size/connection as the MacBook Pro and Aluminum PowerBook. I swapped a few keys and turned on the illumination and it looks pretty damn cool. While it's lit up you can see the key switches under the keys.

Since this is my work laptop I can't modify it, but I thought I'd give a heads up.

The only downside is that the Titanium keyboard doesn't have JUST an eject key. So your entire keyboard would be transparent except for the eject button. I suppose you could put two F12 keys from the Titanium.

I'll see if I can find a camera and take a picture.

Here's a pic. I just swapped a couple keys at work. Looks cooler in person than in the picture, you can actually read the keys:
