My vote was for Liger given the tansition between two architectures.

It's a cross between a lion and a tiger. It's pretty much my favorite animal. Bread for its skills in magic.

I don't think there will be a Mac OS 10.6
Also, since tiger is the coolest of cats, it is hard to come up with names that will beat that.

Anyway ...
if it will be faster, why not call it Cheetah
If it is cooler, call it Lynx

While not actually a cat very closely related. Interesting factoid...civet an ingrediant in some very fine perfumes, is in fact derived from anal glands of the Civet.
