Dell.
More warranty, nicer screen, more inputs, don't have to pay for VESA mount adapter.
we don't have time to stop for gas

I'm 99% sure it will work, as the 27" has the same resolution (1900x1200) as the 24"

yea i think your right im just wondering if its too big. I'm considering the 20 inch ultra sharp its only $350. I just wonder if 20 inches is a good size. I dont want to end up wishing i got a biger monitor.

I recently got 2 of Samsung 225BW monitors, and while it is a great upgrade from my 17" monitors, I sometimes think I should have gotten the Dell 2407WFP simply because of the higher resolution. When pairing an external monitor with a MacBook, I think the bigger the monitor the better. Go with what you can justifiably afford. :-)

I like Apple displays, but the Dell monitors (almost anything they make) has a better price.

That's why most public schools now use Dells with the Win*ows
The Mac Collection:

Power Mac G4 Sawtooth at 450MHz, Power Mac G4 Gigabit Ethernet at 400MHz, three Power Mac FW800's at 1.0GHz, MacBook Pro at 2.0GHz, my late father's G3 iMac at 350MHz, an iMac at 500MHz, a PowerBook G4 (12-inch VGA) and a PowerBook 170
