I know the iBook that I am going to be purchasing at the end of August will be loaded with OS X 10.2.4, my question is - I've read about different problems with 10.2.5 and 10.2.6, should I update my iBook when I bring it home, or leave it until I feel comfortable with updating? Im pretty new to the whole Mac scene, I know enough about how to turn 'em on, and use the OS (havent used OS X much, Ive used 8.6 enough that I know how to use it, open apps, save stuff, all your basic stuff really)

Specs of the one I am going to be purchasing:
800Mhz G3 Processor
12" Display
30GB Hard Drive
256MB of RAM or more
CD-ROM Drive

(The entry level iBook with more RAM basically.)

Thanks in advance

Yes, go ahead and update everything Software Update offers you. There's really no harm in it. A very, very small minority of users have trouble with any given update.
