I have an extra clear transparent Speck brand MacBook Pro 15" case for
sale. It's the Core Duo ( not Core 2 Duo) version; this won't line up with
the ports due to the FW800 added to the C2D.
Anyway, it's sealed in the package, taking up space in my office.
They list for $50 and usually sell for $30 around the 'net.

Just a plug for your Speck Case. My friend used his to protect his MB in a unique way -- he put stickers all over it so it looked like a beat up PC. No one knew he was carrying a $2500 computer -- smart idea!

Thanks. Yeah, some may say I'm nuts for mentioning your ad in mind, but why not. I figure this is a "community site" after all.
Are you sure this won't work on newer C2D. Maybe Speck modified the case, but mine works on both. Stacking my CD on top of my C2D it look like the only thing that possibly would have been covered up is the security hole -- wait, who's am I trying to sell ; )
