I installed OS 9.0.4 on my powerbook. Everything is better except for one thing. It doesn't see my laserwriter 12/640 on my ethernet network. My other computers see the printer, and my powerbook sees my other inkjet printer and the other computers. I have yet to install it on my iMac. I hope that this is only a temporary problem, or i'll have to put 8.6 back on my powerbook

no problems from iMac to 12/640 PS across ethernet hub. Could it be an appletalk settings problems (depending on your Pbook)?

are you printing via. appletalk-over-ethernet or using lpr/tcp-ip?
if appletalk, try switching to lpr (assuming you've given the printer an ip adress, of course)
