Does anyone use Stickies on OS X?

I was just asking because I remember how useful they were back in OS 9 but with iCloud I just haven't needed a separate Stickies app. So, what is Stickies useful for that Notes can't do?

Not me. I don't even use the physical stickies either.

I actually forgot Stickies were still around. Might use if the were easier to find, like in the Apple menu (the old DA's pre OSX).

I set stickies to auto open a stickie on macs that I sell. So when customers start it up it opens to a stickie with a note about the current user name and password and how to set up a new user etc.

It's an alternative to binning the AppleSetupDone file and running the setup assistant.
This space for Hire! Reasonable rates. Reach an audience of literally dozens!

That's extremely clever. I'll bet you only have 10% of customers that call you up to ask about that - or "what's my user name and password?" (Users are extremely clever themselves, and yes I'm both cynical and sarcastic. )

I used Stickies for about a week back in the OS9 days. Haven't used them since.
