Does anyone use Stickies on OS X?

I was just asking because I remember how useful they were back in OS 9 but with iCloud I just haven't needed a separate Stickies app. So, what is Stickies useful for that Notes can't do?

Not me. I don't even use the physical stickies either.

I actually forgot Stickies were still around. Might use if the were easier to find, like in the Apple menu (the old DA's pre OSX).

I set stickies to auto open a stickie on macs that I sell. So when customers start it up it opens to a stickie with a note about the current user name and password and how to set up a new user etc.
It's an alternative to binning the AppleSetupDone file and running the setup assistant.

That's extremely clever. I'll bet you only have 10% of customers that call you up to ask about that - or "what's my user name and password?" (Users are extremely clever themselves, and yes I'm both cynical and sarcastic. )

I used Stickies for about a week back in the OS9 days. Haven't used them since.
