SafariMask is now out....

I've had a look, and all it does is change the buttons, and is pretty crap really.

Would be good if Swiz could make new buttons to go with his SS Chosen OS theme though!

The versiontracker link is here.

I thought that, probably because the skins are part of the .app file.

It's pretty crap though, so if you've got a slow connection don't bother!

Speaking of theming and Safari, why can't you just put themed Safari elements into your theme? Don't both .theme and .dlta support patching arbitrary files? Just add /Applications/Safari to the list of things you're theming.

Thats as bad as Apple demanding iTunes et'al be in the default location. You have to consider that not everybody will have Safari in that location. e.g. mine is in Applications/Internet/Safari

Its the Safari version of Chimericon which will switch your toolbar buttons to alternate versions.

I think it would be better idea if you leave all Apple apps in main folder. If you upgrade to 10.2.4 or above, it will break the apps or install incomplete package

If I had the time ( 1 hour? ) I'd make a similar Free GNU GPLed App just to laugh at them! This hack is soo stupid!!!!!

It does not even deserve to be called a hack.

Just FYI, the new Installer.app (as of 10.2.3) has the ability to locate applications by their bundle identifiers. There is no reason why a theme switcher couldn't do the same. It's a simple LaunchServices function call.

What I don't understand is that every site out there is making some noise about this program as the big next Safari revolution... It's crazy...
I just saw an "aquafier" for Safari on versiontracker.... 14 M file... haha... ;-)
