(quick backstory... my boyfriend and I grew up in CT minutes from eachother, and never met, we met both vacationing in the Outer Banks of NC, 600 miles from home, and we've been together ever since)

so... this time of year in North Carolina, is the perfect time for star gazing. Clear skies and meteor showers make the nights gorgeous in late July and August.

Monday night, on the 5th year anniversary of the night we met under that same North Carolina sky, MrLarry and I grabbed a blanket and laid on the beach in search of the perfect 'wishing star'. After about 3 or 4 tiny blips, I told MrLarry "I've gotta find a BIG one, I have a pretty big wish..." after a few minutes, a big stream of light shot through the sky, we both pointed and yelled "There!" I closed my eyes, and made my wish (little did I know, it was about to come true). I then said to MrLarry (like I always do) "What'dja wish for?!!?". He said (like he always does) "I can't tell you, then it won't come true". Aww. But wait! He buckled and decided to tell me. His wish was that I would marry him. And I said yes!!!

Two wishes, one star. Best night ever.

I was going to suggest using a relatively light caliber weapon because stars rarely wear body armor. 5.56 mm sounds about right........

I saw that one too. I was lying all alone on a blanket out in the snow.
