Hey all,

I need help and I need it fast. I'm selling my iMac (for a Powerbook) and the guy's coming by tomorrow. Could someone post step-by-step instructions on how to wipe my hard drive clean and reinstall the factory settings and software? (I have the Software Restore and Software Install disks.) Thank you so much...whoever has the time to do this.

Todd.

Well the easiest way I think would be:

1)Use Drive Setup and initialize the hard drive
2)Use the Software Restore CD that came with the imac

This should restore everything to its orginal state.

Can't you just use the software restore CD and wipe the partitions before you install?
