I shopped for 4 months and bought today.

I did a little dealing until the guy threw in a bluetooth wireless mouse and warcraft III.

Should be fun, I am guessing I will be up all night!

I want to take a quick note and thank everyone on this board for their help in making my decision. You guys were awesome.

iBooks have the world book. PBs have the omni set. Congrats on the new purchase. Just make sure you have enough ram.

The encyclopedia and appleworks only come free with the "comsumer" laptops, the iBooks.

The Powerbooks are the "pro" laptops and thus Apple does not think we need them.

go figure!

Don't worry about it, there are a ton of free encyclopedias online, and I love teh omni set. I use the Omni Outline all the time for classes, and also go to omni's website and download other free apps from them. Peace out.
