Hi,

I have a 1.25ghz eMac G4 with a large crack in the screen. I was wondering if there is anyway of moving all the workings into a lovely iMac G4. There is a few on eBay with blown logic boards and working screens, love the look of them and need a little project at the moment lol.

Have been reading the iMac abit and think the logic board is a different shape but just wanted to make sure.

Cheers,

Kel

Yep, the logic boards for the eMac and the iMac G4's are quite different. If you so desire to really dig into the inner workings of your eMac, you would be able to remove the hard drive and put it into an iMac G4. HOWEVER, going inside an eMac is not for the faint of heart or for anyone that doesn't have the intention of following CRT discharge procedures. Basically, its a pain in the ass.
