My school is running a promotion right now where 2G iPod Touch 16GB is $250 (instead of $300). I'm wondering if I should pull the trigger and get it now, or if there's a general suspicion they'll be updated (more memory/refresh) before, say, March/April. Does anyone know when the last Touch refresh/update was? Any suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks!

Spiff, you should go to Apple.com and then click STORE and in the bottom of the screen click on REFURBS. You can get an 8-gig for $179 and Apple treats is as new. It's fully warranteed, and you can even get Applecare on it. Don't invest the extra $71 now - a new one, possibly with a camera, and something else very neat, will be coming out this year and you may want to upgrade later.

The Touch is way overpriced.
The storage size is too small. (8Gb? There are flash storage music players out there with 160gb).
They should have 32gb, 64gb, 128gb.
