I'm looking to get a dock and/or stand. Have seen the Bookendz version. Have also seen the iCurve and Kamas powerbook stands.

Any comments on these? Any dock / stand options out there that I'm missing?

What I'd really like to see is a picture of the Bookendz dock w/ a computer in it. Their catalogue images are of the empty dock and so it's hard to tell if the dock itself is elevated (how much, or at all). Any photos of your dock/stand set-up would be greatly appreciated!

Why the heck doesn't Apple have a laptop dock, anyway? They have f'ing docks for the Ipods, for goodness sake!!!

first off, welcome to the forum

second off, i have the iCurve, it is a great stand, and before using it, i would get bad neck cramps from looking down at the screen, now that i have put my lappy on it, no more neck pain. it's a very great accessory.

Do you think that the icurve could work in conjunction w/ the Bookendz Dock? I'd really like a docking port as well as the height. I've been using my laptop mostly on my lap for the last three years, but now I'm at it all day at a desk and it's really annoying. Also, don't mind plugging in the power and firewire everymorning, but add to that the Monitor adapter and keyboard / USB mouse and it's getting a little tedious!!!
