iTunes 7.7 downloaded on my machine last night. The system updater must have installed it around 4:30am. Oddly enough, i just tried ran the system updater on my other computer and it shows nothing available.

I wonder if it was posted for a brief moment and then removed by Apple.

Anyhow, I have it running on my main computer. Sweet!

I call BS. Had it been available for 10 minutes, it would be all over the internet right now. Can someone close this thread, or at least retitle it? Someone else claimed this yesterday.

Close the thread? The claim may or may not be "BS," but unless that can be proven unequivocally, demanding the thread be closed is a bit reactionary. Calm down and give it a minute.

It's odd thought hat this is the second person reporting it. Maybe Apple did slip up and make it available for a couple of minutes, and some computers just by chance checked for updates at that time

Anyways, be prepared for the lock.

I really doubt, given the hype surrounding all of the impending software updates, iPhone 3G, MobileMe, that there would be a "slip up" and it would be up and then down by accident.

I do expect iTunes 7.7 today. Mobile me is launching tonight, and according to the .Mac to MobileMe transition FAQ, iPhone 2.0 will be available when MobileMe launches. If you do the math, we should see iPhone 2.0 tonight as well.

We need a third thread. Then Apple will surely release it!
