I've never understood the fascination people have with jeans. I've worn them, but I much prefer my cargos. They're comfortable and functional.

Sorry, I'm a "snotty designer jeans" person...
I have:
(2) pairs of Lucky Jeans
(2) pairs of Diesel Jeans
(1) pair of Polo Jeans
(1) pair of Victorinox Swiss Jeans
I get to work in jeans each and everday (WOO HOO!) so I tend to buy nicer ones...

You're right, I think I'll open my very own jeans company and make jeans that cost well over $150/pair and come with little golden "$" on the side pockets....

Dont ask me the name of this person because i cant remember. But she was an artist, and you could send her any piece piece of your clothing. After she received it, she would sew in one of her tags, and charge you $100, then send the item back to you. genius.
oh yeah........diesel. but only off of ebay, and for no more than 35 a pair.

no you see... he pays what they are worth to him... having nice jeans might not be worth that much to you, but it is to him
just because its not the choice you would make doesnt make it the wrong choice

Lono doesn't like it when you talk about his stingray shoes. Now put the squeegee in the busket.

My fav jeans are my old navy baggy fitty that are starting to fall apart...but they are so comfortable...
3 pairs of Eddie Bauer relaxed fit because a freind of mine works there and gets them for me at a serious discount...nice (and cheap) but not as comfortable...

Can't deal with the whole Gap/Old Navy/Abercrombie crowd....
Used to be a Diesel fan, have about ten pairs of those but the cuts have changed and really arent flattering anymore. Absolutely sold on Seven for all Mankind jeans now. Put on a pair of those (not the shitty knockoff that Express sells) and you'll hate buyin anything else. Random girls come up to me on the street and ask me what they are...can't hate that!
All told I've got:
10 Diesel
3 Energie/Miss Sixty
5 Seven for all Mankind
4 Versace
some random other pairs of esoteric foreign brands or small label designers.
all that said...I really don't wear jeans that much. used to.

Looking at this thread instantly made me think of Homer Simpson:
Herman, how could you? We've all thought about counterfeiting jeans at one time or another, but what about the victims? Hard-working designers, like Calvin Klein, Gloria Vanderbilt, or Antoine Bugle Boy. These are the people who saw an overcrowded marketplace and said, "Me, too!"

Anyone know where I can get some waist size 26 (U.S.) jeans? I mean, nice, good looking jeans. I have come across only Diesel so far that is still making some, and even then, they are difficult to find.
And yes, I am older than my waist size.

Energie even?
yeah, they've actually started putting Miss Sixty on the boy pants now instead of Energie...odd, that.
And I forgot all about my McQueens, languishing on the floor of my closet.
Ah the days when he still made mens clothes.
