I am interested buying an external keyboard for PB 12".
Currently I have one Microsoft Internet Keyboard, which is only has PS2 port on it.
Any suggestion is welcome.

Thanks.

MacAlly makes some decent ones, which I've used. Also Logitech is a good choice, especially if you want one to share between a Mac and PC.

Good question. I'm a writer and do a lot of typing. Right now I'm using a spare G4 keyboard with my PB and it sucks; constantly miss letters. So a good typist keyboard recommendation would be nice. Are the macally's responsive? I am using a macally optical mouse.

i got an Apple Pro keyboard (i don't think they call it Pro anymore) to go with my TiBook. personally, i love it... but i'm not a writer but do some programming. i like the feel it has, and in gives two USB ports on the back of the keyboard as well.

I'm using the Logitech Wireless Duo MX (I think that's what it's called). It comes with a wireless keyboard and mouse. Everything is wirelessly hooked up and after I installed the software from their website, I was able to use the media keys to open email, ichat and control the volume. It was $99 dollars, but I got it for $79 plus a $10 rebate... I almost bought the Apple wireless keyboard until I found this....

I use a Matias Tactile Pro. Amazing keyboard. Very responsive like the old Apple Extended II. I tried a number of keyboards, including Apple's, and always found all of them too soft to the touch and unresponsive.

See it at:

Best price for it is offered by smalldog.com.

Hi,

since I saw this gorgeous camera move in Jurassic Park, where Denis Nedry is typing on an old Apple Keyboard II (the small one with the adb connector ), I had to have something like that.

I did not want to buy an adb adapter for my Powerbook, but I bought a gray Keyboard from one of the early G4s (eBay) that looks very similar to the Keyboard II.

Matches perfectly with my 20 inch cinema display and with the 12 inch AlBook (like it matched with my TiBook) and works very well. Its not that wide compared to the Powerbook.
