i forgot to talk all about electric vehicles in my initial post, to actually give this thread some meat rather than being just a video post.

KillaCycle can go zero to 60 miles-per-hour in a mind numbing .97 seconds.
Oh my God....

Wearing a helmet ANY time you're on a motorcycle (of any kind) is NOT rocket science. So I guess Mr. Dube is a rocket scientist in his day job. The phrase "no good cam come of this" was running through my head long before Dube got on the bike... But that does sort of demonstrate that this bike is "a contender," doesn't it? I mean it's almost killed its inventor, which shows that it's a pretty powerful bike. I do hope Mr. Dube is ok.

Yes, I believe you're right. Dube colluded with the camera crew, the owner of the minivan, the paremedics and fire department, AND destroyed his pride and joy of a motorcylce to fake an accident. Makes sense to me.

Well smartass, I said "doesn't it LOOK fake." I never said it WAS fake. It just LOOKs (notice I said looks) fake because the way the motorcycle just takes off and then the camera just goes to him laying spread eagle on the ground. It's actually quite comical if you ask me.

Well then, I must sincerely apologize. In my circles, it is generally implied that when someone says something "looks" a certain way, they mean it "is" a certain way.

The bike was not destroyed, neither was any part of him. The bastard should not test his luck ever again.

If it was faked, he should have scheduled an interview with CNN, not TGDaily, for even better publicity.

Ouch. That rear tire hooked up, picked up the front wheel, and off it went!

the thing with these electric engines is that they produce instant power. it's why an excavator uses actually four electric engines powered by a diesel generator to move over the rough terrain. i heard about a rearwheel electric powered porsche that could instantly shred its tires because of the crazy forces involved.

I thought he said that it got "stuck on," not that he locked the wheels, FWIW.
