That's ironic that you would ask that question, as I just noticed that Railroader's picture is slightly blurry! Hopefully someone can answer your question, so that Railroader will be able to fix that problem! * how much longer can I keep this joke going?

I think this calls for a giant three-axis gyro stabalizer. It's the only way. I'm sorry. Then again, I think the FBI has some really good software that might help.

Know anybody at the FBI?

Damn clouds.

I want to try these new techniques I am learning about. But who knows if it will eleviate the blurriness. We just have to wait.

Damn clouds.

And I finally found the menu area for mirror lockup. Can you say: "Crap! Where are we going to put all of these other menu itmes we forgot to add in the easy to use menu system? i know, we'll put them in the difficult to find archaic user-unfriendly menu system. Only those who can master this archaic user-unfriendly menu system will be ableto take unblurriness pictures of the moon."

Well, can you?

If I answer this question, I will have to neutralize you. It's best not to ask questions like this in the future.

Maybe using the built in timer will reduce blurriness.

All great suggestions! I will try them all!

But this mirror-lock-up thing and the timer thing are a royal pain. Maybe after I cut the caffeine and up the valium I won't feel the same way... my other problems aside for now, I just hope you guys can find a solution to alleviate the blurriness.

I found this picture on Flickr. I wonder if he could help me with his blurriness.

UPDATE: Cloudy night tonight. I doubt the moon is even out tonight. Probably hung-over from last night's partying.

I was able to take some pictures tonight. It was still a little hazy, but I tried anyway. Some of your techniques worked wonders. The mirror lock was probably the best tip. But since I am still in town I am getting some haze from local light pollution. When the moon is full I'll try driving out of town to avoid it.

And the original very large file [converted to jpg from RAW]

Way to go railroader!

Your next assignment: North American song birds on nest.

Good luck.
