I haven't put together my "door as a desk" yet, but I plan on it within a week or so, mostly because of the new addition to the family: A shiny 2 GHz 20" iMac G5/250 GB HD/Superdrive. I decided to take some pics, you should too.

Oh, and it sure beats the pants off my trusty, but old G4.

When I get the desk set up, it'll be a nice spacious area where I can set everything up proper.

I don't believe there have been any in the last six months, so what ever voodoo Ice casts to resurrect such an abomination would end up needing a head shot to put that zombie back down.

As for the search tool, well, sometimes a different definition of "tool" is required when referring to that. Although I haven't tried to use it lately, so maybe it's all working groovy now.

EDIT: I was mean.

this is a non-model specific thread for all kinds of computers, desks, whatever. There aren't any in the lounge that are recent, thus I've created this one.

Yes, my work desk is always that messy
Creative environments mean that I have little urge to tidy up. Ever. The worst bit about work is that the guy next to me sits on a bouncy ball, and the other sits on an Aeron chair.

I downgraded desks once I got the new TV... I still can't decide if Im going to mount it on the wall or get a tv stand with a swivel mount.

So for now I use this shitty partical board P.O.S. of a desk.

Got a new desk, said screw it to the door-as-a-desk idea.

Ikea just opened around the way, and I picked up a Galant desk and I love it..

Still working on cable management and such:
