Hey,
I didn't really find any information on this on the web.
I want to use the Yahoo Mail app from the App Store on iOS and I wonder if it uses IMAP, so that I can synchronize with an iPhone for example. And how large is the capacity? I found no information...
Greetings,
Pete

It's IMAP. Yahoo mail was famously the first e-mail provider to offer push e-email for iPhone.

Yahoo essentially gives you a bajillion whatsits worth of storage. I've been using their service pretty much since it began, and I know I have stuff well over 10 years old in my folders with them. Tons of stuff, lots of large, even huge, attachments. Never heard anything about a limit.
I use their web-based interface sometimes, but also the mobile app on both my iPhone and iPad, all without much fuss at all.

Last I checked Yahoo was the biggest email provider in the world too. The amount of profiling potential available to advertisers in data mining Yahoo mail is staggering. Yahoo as a company may one day fold, but it is going to be interesting to see what somebody buys Yahoo Mail for.

I think Yahoo is also one of the biggest purveyors of spam, judging from my inbox the past year or so.

Okay, it's just a quick question, but nonetheless important. My first name starts with a small letter here (as in "peter"), I can't find a way to configure which name is displayed as sender. Any idea?
