I just started using an IMAP server for my mail. Now I am in the middle of transferring my archived mail, which is stored in several mailboxes in the Mail application, to the IMAP server.

Some messages, however, cannot be copied from the local mailboxes to the IMAP server's mailboxes. An error message generated by Mail reads:

The message ##### ### ####### ## #### could not be moved to the mailbox Folder1/Folder2/Mailbox Description
where the destination is a mailbox ("Mailbox") in a folder ("Folder2") in a folder ("Folder1") on the IMAP server and "Description" is the name of the account description as set up in the Mail preferences.

Has anyone seen this?

Are there patterns to these message that refuse to be moved?

Is there a fix or workaround?

I'm not sure how this affects you, but I was having weird mailbox problems on my IMAP account after upgrading to 10.4. In 10.3, my IMAP folder had to be "mail/" (without quotation marks), but after upgrading, I had to change it to "mail"
