I'm running OSX 10.3.5 and I can't disable scheduled startup. Even 'closing the lock' to prevent changes to the power saver pref pane doesn't work; as soon as I launch system prefs it's back to starting up every day at 9am. Weird. I've tried trashing system prefs and the schedule pref, restarting, but the problem persists. Any advice?

Edit: tried it as root too, to no avail!
