Numbers performance increases... hmmm... sure needs it, according to heavy spreadsheet users.

Numbers hasn't any noticable performance increases. It is still very slow and unresponsive compared to the competition.

The Weyland-Yutani corporation finds this version of Numbers (1.0.1) to be lacking and will continue to use Excel for world-domination puropses.

Yeah, I have seen plenty of iLife updates that can be important for somethings. For iWork, not too interested in it yet as I haven't had a good look at it.

Plenty of updates happening in the Apple camp right now!

Actually, I did notice a considerable speedup with Numbers 1.0.1. It's not Excel yet, but Microsoft's glacially slow update process gives Apple a nice chance to play catchup.

Scores of individuals at the Weyland-Yutani corporation have tested this version (1.0.1) extensively and found it offer absoloutly no speedup or other conceivable performance upgrade for Numbers.

Thank you for your participation.

Yeah I agree it is indeed faster. Glad to see Apple trying to improve iLife 08, there's still some things that could be improved with numbers buts a topic for a different thread
