Feral Interactive has announced that its multi-discipline racing game
Grid 2 Reloaded Edition will be released for Mac gamers this summer. Featuring "World Series Racing," players aim to become the star driver of the league by facing off against international drivers from local clubs. Races are set in a variety of locations, such as mountain roads and city streets of Paris, Miami or Hong Kong. Each vehicle option varies in respects to its gearing, torque and weight distribution.
Grid 2 Reloaded Edition contains all of the additional content previously released for
Grid 2, including over 20 additional cars by manufacturers such as McLaren and Aston Martin. Pricing and system requirements have yet to be announced, however a game trailer is now available as part of a preview.
Checkout Point of Sale 4.0 released
Acclivity has released the latest version of its
Checkout Point of Sale software for Mac, offering a new integration with Shopify and more. Intended for small businesses, Checkout v4.0 includes over 45 new enhanced features, a fast image processing engine, and Shopify syncing for e-commerce users.
The new Shopify connector allows for inventory items and Sales Invoices to sync directly between Checkout and Shopify, so there is no re-entry of data. Checkout v4.0 has also added improvements to barcode scanning hardware, and templates include the option to display notes, placating slip information, tip, discounts, product descriptions, and more. Gift receipts and packaging slips can be printed directly from the print dialog box, and all invoices and receipts can be translated into French, Spanish, Dutch, German and Italian if desired. Priced at $500, Checkpoint Point of Sale v4.0 can be purchased online. A free trial is available.
