I just spent 2-3 hours designing and animating a reaaally nice intermediate progressbar...really...I love that progressbar...

And then...I switched over to cocoa preview...

AND IT WAS RUINED!

My beutiful progressbar was moving in one direction like an ugly...ugly...progressbar...

So it was working in carbon but not in cocoa, as usual.

PLEASE, I beg of you guys over at unsanity, Jason...please...bring me back my progressbar!

Sometimes it's a pain being a themer...actually...it turns into a pain the minute you push the preview button. Cause at that very moment...you're floating in the air, hours of work and thinking...and you're about to see the result, your work put to use...and then you fall, like a bird smashing into a window, you fall straight into the merciless world of OS X GUI. And once again, you really don't want to look at photoshop one more time in a year or two.

Thank you Unsanity...and smeger, for actively working for a better world for themers...

My name is Daniel Schlaug...
and I'm a student...

...it was such a nice progressbar...

This is something I have planned for a future, unspecified release. You're not the only person that it bothers.

That was a pretty funny post, by the way!

Oh no!

My really nice post has been taken over by non-understandable english discussionboard slang.

Well well...I'm just happy my progressbar will come back to me in time...now I guess I'll be able to endure a bit longer...and maybe I should stop hunting the button sometime soon...

Good to hear, thanks.

I'm guessing BBX is bothered by it enough to wait for that to be fixed before releasing Omega.

Oh...it's a big secret...I would reveal it though if I knew how to make a good gif out of it...

Edit: So...this is my beautiful progressbar...isn't it worth getting melancholic about?

It rocks. It doesn't look good on a white bg tho. Maybe you should put it a pit darker.
But the animation is really awesome.

Hmmm..you're right, it probbably needs to be darker if it's to be on a white bg with edges maybe... Thanks!

Wowee! I wish things like this could be displayed in a mockup. Sometimes animations are the coolest. (Like Milk's spinning progress wheel.)

Wish they'd get displayed at all...
Guess they could be displayed if everyone would make a gif displaying it in the preview.

Anyways, thanks guys wait 'till you see the rest

Oh...the movement is indeed in three layers...sharp...

No way...! They'll never have my progressbar...it's my own...my...

No really, I know... but if that's so a theme like that wouldn't get out on Mac OS X until the new SS and by then I should be done too...It also needs some more work...

Guess I'm just that trusting

Think I should take it down?

Of course it will, the only reason its not done now is that it was frozen all winter.

Heh, right on!

No really...a lot has happened during the winter too... I'm not going to leave anything half-done this time, that's why it's not out yet.

And hey, you shouldn't base your expectations on the one thing that's possible to make much more cool than all the other...well...kind of..

Anyways, glad ya all like it...

Ya Phoenix does suck like that, the streets melt in the hottest time of the year and become tar-pits.
86 isn't that bad then I guess, stupid apartments don't have the coolers on yet though.

edit: oh sorry for going off topic.

Hoo...sweden is very frozen at the moment...had one day when it was around 59...and then it rained and then it snowed.

Anyways I never planned on keeping the pinstripes. It's just so damn hard to make BG's.
