I would have thought the 1.5Ghz model to be much faster than the older 1.33 with Radeon 9600. Looks like the 167Mhz and AGP 4X bus is holding it back. The Dual Power Mac 1.4Ghz is also racing ahead of it beyond what a DP system should.

the mobility radeon 9700's had only the stock 64 mbs of vram, i want to see some benchmarks with the 128 mb's of vram.

Just what I expected -- the biggest issue with a G5 powerbook is NOT the processor. An underclocked G5 will probably work. But to get the boost everyone expects, an entire new motherboard will need to be built. And optimizing all those components for power and heat is going to take some time.
