I've heard from a few people that the 16 MB cache is really kind of a gimmick and the Hitachi is slightly faster anyway (but barely enough to really matter). I've also heard the Hitachi is a bit quieter, but again it's probably really minor. I doubt there's enough of a difference either way to get excited about.

There isn't even much of a difference in games between 64mb and 128mb of video RAM. Video RAM helps with high MB textures, but the PowerBook is simply too slow to run with high textures anyways. You may noticed some incremental gains in Tiger with more video RAM.
