Ever since installing iTunes 4 I have been unable to invoke Snapz Pro X from within iTunes. In fact, the Snapz Pro X process seems to quit entirely when I press the keys assigned to invoke it (good old Command-Shift-3) when iTunes 4 is the frontmost application.

I also installed Quicktime 6.2 before I noticed this, but I doubt that has anything to do the problem.

Is anyone else having this problem, or does anyone have any ideas what the problem might be? Command-Shift-3 doesn't appear to be any kind of shortcut built into iTunes 4, and iTunes 4 is the first (and only) application that I have noticed this odd behavior in.

FYI, the Ambrosia developers have already been notified of this and are looking into a solution.

I've also noticed weird Snapz behaviour lately, but not only when iT4 is the frontmost app.

Specifically, sometimes it won't launch for me.

That was with 1.0.5, so I've "upgraded" to 1.0.7 now to see if that fixes it. But I don't think I'll be paying their price-gouging "upgrade" fee to go from 1.0.5 to 1.0.7.

"price-gouging upgrade fee"?

Uh, all of the 1.0.x updates have been free, provided you bought the app yourself. Bundled software licenses are a different animal altogether.
