After you master your Canon, consider a tripod down the road. You can do a lot of fun stuff with a tripod.

I'm looking to get a tripod very soon. Weather in and around Toulouse at this time of the year is far from ideal for a budding wannabe photographer. Recent shots have been blurry because I can't hold still. I'm still waiting for the filter to arrive as well.

I like your photo waxcrash, even with the clouds. I'm still too embarrassed to show some of my attempts.
