Hey Guys,

I am having a couple irksome issues with my MBP 15" 2.33gHz. I believe them to be one in the same. The issue is that, when I shut the thing down, while everything seems to be fine, the indicator light on the release button remains illuminated until I manually shut down via the power button. I get the same thing when I attempt to restart. The monitor and HD go off, and everything seems normal, except that indicator light, and I can't "wake it up" until I turn it off and then on.

After I do the hard shut down, I get an error on startup that apparently occurred as the thing was trying to shut itself down. below is said error. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank guys.

run the hardware test (located on your MBP's restore disc 1; hold down D at startup with it inserted).

This could be bad RAM or some other bad hardware.

Shortly before this started happening, did you install any new hardware or upgrade existing?

Looks like a USB issue. AHT might catch that too.
I have plenty of more important things to do, if only I could bring myself to do them....
