I think this question belongs here.

A couple of watch os versions back, the gps (i know it didn't update on the second) would give me a readout of my current mph when I had the bike activity active.

A new os came and they instead settled for average mph, even when actively peddling.

Is there any way to get the current mph back?

I ride for a long time and I try and maintain a certain mph at certain grades, difficult to do when I only have an average.

I could get a simple bike computer, but why can't this watch do it for me?
