The CDRW/DVD drive in my MacBook has finally bit the dust. There are a few different part numbers out there for MacBook replacement drives, but as far as I can tell any of them will work in any MacBook model. Is that true?

For the record, I have a Late 2007/Santa Rosa 13" MB.

Thanks!

any model will work in any MacBook. As long as it is a super slim line one. They are also the same as the various MacBook Pro drives. All pretty expensive compared to the normal slim line drives though.
