I've searched and I've searched, but to no avail -- so I'm finally asking.
I need an OS X AppleScript that, when run, will simply give me the machine speed, bus speed, number of processors, L2 cache size, machine model, and total amount of installed RAM.
I'd then like to be able to save this gathered data to a text file on my Desktop.
There are several OS 9 scripts that do this, but they don't transpose to OS X. If someone could post a full OS X script that does this, I'd be MUCH appreciative!
Thanks,
Maury
