is feeding credit card applications wholesale into my Xerox 8 page crosscut shredder. It'll do credit cards themselves as well.

I dunno but if it doesn't come from a Bank I recognise, into the shredder it goes. Citi, Bank of America, American Express... ok. "Pay a $49 yearly fee plus $8 monthly service charge for $15,000 credit limit with ONLY 19.99% APR!!!111" = trash.

intriguing

And they kind of are, knowing you've totally annihilated something and there's nothing you can do to bring it back. Few things are like that these days. Its scary, feeding old Christmas cards into them. Especially old love letters, knowing that once you feed it in, it's irrevocably gone.

Take the shredded bits, put them in the postage-free reply envelope, and mail it back to the bank. Maybe someday they will get the message.
