Nice smokescreen. You know your team was doomed. You didn't win because of Brady, you won because a rookie on the Pats "had a vision" (direct quote).

Defense won your game, not Brady. In fact, if it wasn't for Seattle's blunder, Brady would have lost that game.

Defense won your two titles, not Manning. Does that detract from his performance?

Keep the hate coming guys, I'll be here until you get tired of beating your head against the wall.

(The Packers got shutout in the SB? Not to my knowledge.)

The Broncos did, their first TD was in garbage time.

You have two favorite teams now?

I like Peyton because he played for the Univ of TN (so I followed the Colts and now the Broncos), but the Packers have been my team since I was a kid.

I assumed Broncos, I was wrong, Packers have an amazing lineage and an amazing QB....MVP in fact.

Also Luck is going to have an amazing career.

He also threw 27 INTs last season. In the previous SB thread I praised Eli for his clutch play, that Manningham throw was brilliant.

Weird how I can praise other teams without being a hater, y'all should try it sometime.

Ummm I'm pretty sure I've never downplayed the amazing game-plan and play of the 07 and 10 Giants, which included the absolute clutch-iest plays of Eli Manning. Much like the Seahawks last year the 07 Giants held a record breaking offense to under 20 points, while Manning and his WRs made amazing plays.

I've also said that those losses will haunt me until the day I die, I have nothing but respect for those teams, and Coughlin, during those runs. Yet again, as I said pages ago, you NY fans will have a hair across their ass for the Pats forever, and I cannot understand it for the life of me.

Defensive game-plan was brilliant in both SB titles, but if you want to cherry-pick then so be it.

Eli: 2 SBs, 2 MVPs

Brady: 6SBs, 3 MVPs, 4 Wins

Just drink that in, driiiiiink iiiiit.

He beat the crap out of the Pats' D in that SB, period. He was 30 of 40 for 296 yds, no picks, which incidentally, is better a completion % than Brady has ever achieved in any SB.

Oh we're doing stats again? I don't think that sort of thing ends well for Pats haters.

Brady has more yards, more TDs and more completions in SBs than any other QB in history.

Driiiiink iiiiit.

Funny how I talked about the Giants as a team and you guys tried to switch it back to Manning, to which I countered with my Brady stats.

At any rate The Pats hoisted their 4th Lombardi Trophy in 15 years and everyone will be scrambling to de-legitimize it like rabid dogs....and I love it.

I switched it to Manning? You're drunk and delusional, I didn't bring up Manning. And it isn't hard to delegitimize it, New England has done a bang-up job of doing that all by themselves (cheaters).

Actually my favorite player on the team is Vince Wilfork, Brady is just a ball throwing robot as far as I'm concerned. Also, I am on record that football is the ultimate team sport.

Keep it coming boys, loving it.

Nope, but as more info comes out it's looking really bad for the Colts. Their GM told the refs at halftime and handed over the intercepted ball, which had been in their custody for nearly 15 minutes at that point. That is also the only ball that registered 2psi low, all the others are easily explained by temperature and moisture conditions and were just barely under the 12.5 minimum.

I eagerly look forward to seeing all the rats at ESPN scurry away from this story as fast as they called Tom Brady's legacy into question.

I guess there one of the game's best wide receivers and winner of three super bowls admitting to cheating just isn't comment worthy. This doesn't change anyone's perception of him or the niners?

It's on the same level as doctoring the ball in baseball. Every year plenty of pitchers do it, some get caught and in the end nobody really cares that much. Modern gloves like those used by Odell Beckam Jr. might as well be just as sticky as Jerry's stickum trick back in the day. He's a hypocrite for calling out the Patriots, but he's still the greatest WR of all time.

"Cheating" and "gamesmanship" are more or less interchangeable words in sports. After the SB two other teams were found guilty of "cheating", actually found guilty mind you not wildly accused of.

The Browns and general manager Ray Farmer are facing possible sanctions from the NFL for “Textgate,” including a multigame suspension for Farmer, and a fine and loss of draft pick for the Browns, league sources told Northeast Ohio Media Group. … NEOMG reported on Jan. 6 that a Browns “high-ranking personnel member texted from the press box to the sidelines about playcalls” during a game
Falcons owner Arthur Blank admitted Tuesday the team pumped artificial crowd noise into the Georgia Dome during home games the last two years...
I get a chuckle out of both these, because by the strict rules in place these can also qualify as "cheating" Colts got nabbed for crowd noise in the past as well.

Imagine a rumor getting out about "secret text messages" to Belichick from some shadowy figure in the press box, the media would lose their goddamn minds. The Browns though? Eh, moving on.

As for the Falcons, when your defense gives up more total yards than all 31 other teams you might need some help in the crowd noise department.

Oh, missed this, the conferences already do that but there still isn't enough jam to cover the toast, as it were, to pay all student athletes a salary along with the other expenses of maintaining the athletic dept (ladies' volleyball, softball, tennis, golf, water polo, etc. etc.).
