Hehe, I'm special, I get to go to a 10pm showing today...but since I'm on the west coast, them damn east-coasters will be in theater for an hour already!
G4/450, T-bird 1.05GHz, iBook 500, iBook 233...4 different machines, 4 different OSes...(9, 2k, X.1, YDL2.2 respectively) PiA to maintain...

Anyone who sees it, be sure to post a review...

The guy at 'Ain't It Cool' just posted his review and kind of slated it, although a review over at Slashdot had the opposite opinion...

"Very cool in places, but ultimately a let down..." Hmmm.

I'd really like to hear what other NNers have to say as I can't see the movie in the UK until the 21st...

I'd like to go tonight, but I don't know if any theaters in my area are doing the whole late night thing.

I wonder how many other people right now, at this very moment, are also loading The Matrix into their DVD drive, getting ready to watch the original before going to see Reloaded.

So I'm walking down Canal Street this morning, and what are the ladies on the corner hawking but "Matrix: Reloaded" DVDs.

Weeeell...that's what the title was anyway. Maybe I should have picked it up along with Harry Potter five, six and seven.

the only bad part? alot of dialog, and it was very long winded in parts, kinda like sitting through a philosophy lecture...

Yeah that was kind of different but equally good.

I'd say both movies held their own.

Just got back and (thankfully) it did not disappoint!

It packs a lot of movie into just over two hours. Lots o' action and lots o' storyline.

I will definitely be going again, probably Friday night.

Theater complex I went to only advertised it as showing in one theater, but ended up showing on two screens. Both theaters packed to maximum capacity. I'm sure they had to turn some away. Ten minutes to showtime and folks are wandering up and down the isles looking for open seats and bitching. I'm sorry, but showing up ten minutes before showtime to the opening night of Matrix Reloaded revokes your right to bitch!
