I like the Jawbone Prime, i've had it for a while and it works fine.
there are no visible buttons, feels sturdy and would recommend it highly.
Costco has a great deal for it. i think it typically goes for $120ish and i bought mine for $50

As a non-spammer, I can chime in and say I like the Sony DR-BT101 I got for $40ish on Amazon. They’re an over-the-ear style, that’s a sort of unusual intermediate size: bigger than the super cheap kind, but smaller than the big studio headphones. The pads are foam like the little guys usually have instead of the big cushiony cup-shaped ones on studio cans. They’re over all pretty non-*********gy-looking, and the buttons and lights are pretty inconspicuous.
I’m not an audiophile in any sense of the word, so I can’t give any detailed commentary on the sound quality, but there’s nothing about it that bothers me, and reviews don’t seem to complain.
They charge via USB, and the single really annoying thing about them is that you can’t use them while charging. So if they crap out while you’re using them, you have to wait around til they charge, which can be super frustrating if you’re indoors and stationary near a USB port.
If you like in-ear headphones, the Motorola S9-HD is a behind-the-head style that seems reasonably comfortable, but not adjustable, so maybe is best for big ol’ heads like mine. I had some problems with the set I had, but I’m pretty sure it was a Chinese knock-off, so my experience isn’t so relevant. They’ve gotten decent reviews, and these days you can find them for probably $60-65.
Good luck, and let us know what you get and how you like it.

I'm puzzling over that one, as well.
I'd like to buy a "u", please.

Heh. I suppose that one's specifically for Rob.

It just didn’t even occur to me that that would get filtered. Now I know to add that to my system-wide autocorrect. Even if I only need it for MacNN, it’s a word that would benefit from gratuitous umlauts in most contexts.
