I was going to upgrade to the 8800 gt in preparation for snow leopard , but now I've noticed that Apple no longer sells them. what other cards (no windows hacked cards, preferably) are left as my options?

ATI 4870 works great. Either windows version or original apple one

The 4870 is certainly an excellent choice. BareFeats.com usually has tests on the latest cards.

I recently flashed (kinda scary but not REALLY that difficult afterall) and installed a 4870 in MP 1.1 and it does work great.
However, there are some forum reports of a "jumpy" mouse (I think both Mac 4870 and flashed PC cards). See Apple Support Discussions -MP I did in fact experience that, but it has gone away, I hope, for good because it was annoying. It's a mystery.
